Chris Lopez-Aquino

Raquel Perez Perez

  • Impressive academic background: Watervliet Public Schools, VB Tech, and VBISD Summer Migrant Program in Covert
  • Attending Michigan State University (MSU)
  • Part of the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP)
  • Known for her commitment to education and continuous learning

Elsa Perez Cruz

  • Alumnus of Watervliet Public Schools
  • Participated in the VBISD Summer Migrant Program at Covert
  • Also attending Michigan State University as part of CAMP
  • Recognized for her hard work and determination

Amado Apolinar Apolino

  • Attended VBISD Summer Migrant Program in Covert and Watervliet Public Schools
  • Graduated from high school in Florida
  • Now part of MSU CAMP
  • His achievements highlight the importance of support for migrant students

Andrea Renteria Mangel (not pictured)

  • Immigrated to the US with her family in 2014
  • Overcame challenges as an English Language learner through hard work and determination
  • Follows a migratory education pattern: Fall in Decatur, transferring to Manatee, FL in late September
  • Balances academics with work and caring for younger siblings
  • 2024 graduate of Parrish Community High School in Parrish, FL
  • Currently enrolled as a nursing student at State College of Florida
